Hello, I'm Kinga
I am a Provisional Psychologist who works with children, adolescents, and adults. I support people experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, and emotional or attentional difficulties, as well as those wanting to better understand themselves and how they function.
Originally from Poland, I completed a PhD in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Psychology before moving to Australia, where I have worked in both research and clinical settings. I have experience contributing to psychological assessments and supporting individuals within multidisciplinary teams, including in public health services.
I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and able to explore things at your own pace. I understand that starting therapy can feel unfamiliar or even daunting, and I will meet you where you are, without pressure or expectation.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and neuroaffirming. I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship and working together to develop practical strategies that feel manageable and relevant in your day-to-day life.
I draw on evidence-based approaches, particularly Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and integrate strategies that support emotional regulation, problem-solving, and psychological flexibility.

About me
Alongside my clinical work, I have a strong background in research and academic psychology. I completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of New South Wales, where I contributed to research in mental health and emotional processes, and have been involved in teaching and supervising psychology students at university level.
This background shapes how I approach therapy. I value evidence-based practice and take a thoughtful, structured approach to understanding each person’s experience, while still keeping therapy practical and relevant to everyday life.
I see therapy as a space to slow things down, build understanding, and develop skills that feel useful outside of sessions. I value creating a supportive and respectful environment where you can explore challenges and work towards meaningful change.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, practising Pilates, and starting the day with a beach walk and coffee. I also enjoy music, especially 80s classics.
